FORMALITIES IN TURKEY
For a stay of more than 3 months (long stay), they must imperatively contact, before their departure, a Turkish diplomatic or consular mission, in order to obtain a visa corresponding to the main reason for stay (work , studies or other).
Long stay
To enter Turkey, a minor child traveling alone or accompanied by one of his parents must:
Either be in possession of an individual passport or a national identity card (CNI),
Or be registered on the individual passport of the accompanying parent or of the authorized third party (minors under 15).
Warning: In all these cases, it is strongly recommended, in order to avoid any problem at the border which could go as far as refusal of admission and refoulement, to also provide the child with the family record book and / or a authorization to leave the territory established before the competent French authority (prefecture in mainland France) by the parent (s) having exercise of parental authority.
It is recommended to bring photocopies of identity documents in case of loss or theft of documents.
